Our staff
and committee
Our dedicated staff are highly qualified in Early Years education, trained in Paediatric First Aid, and regularly updated on Safeguarding practices.

We are registered with Ofsted and undergo regular inspections to maintain high standards. As members of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, we continuously update our skills through ongoing training.

To ensure quality care, we maintain a child-to-adult ratio of 5:1 for 2-year-olds and 8:1 for children aged 3 and above. Our team also participates in regular refresher courses to stay up to date.

We are proud to have received a 'Good' rating in our latest Ofsted inspection. Our caring staff provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

A volunteer parent management committee supports the Staff with the running of the pre-school.
Team Members
The Committee
A group of volunteer parents, elected by the parents of pre-school children, manages the pre-school. Elections for this committee occur during the Annual General Meeting, held in the Autumn Term each year.

The Committee must have a Chairperson, Treasurer, and Secretary as its officers, along with at least 3 and no more than 9 additional members. All members must undergo health and police checks as required by Ofsted.

The committee is also responsible for ensuring the financial security of the playgroup and organising fundraising events.
Being on the committee means that you have a chance to have your say and contribute to the running of the pre-school.
