Welcome to Pangbourne Valley Pre-School.

We are a registered charity pre-school dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 2-5 in Pangbourne and the surrounding villages.

Play, learn, grow

Starting pre-school is their first step towards independence.  At Pangbourne Valley Pre-School we help children develop their social skillsets through a wide range of experiences and activities in a safe and happy environment, to help prepare them for the next step.

Pangbourne Valley Pre-School is a registered charity, at the heart of our community, committed to providing affordable childcare and education for local families.

Activities

With the emphasis on play, our learning activities include cookery, music, construction, arts and crafts, messy play, and imagination.  We have a freshly refurbished and secure garden area where the children can explore outdoor activities, from climbing and bike riding to gardening and physical games.  We also organise outings, trips and visits throughout the year.

Crafting

Let the creativity flourish in 3D, with recycled materials and small parts, the children have the opportunity to create, and learn how to craft safely. Developing their fine and gross motor skills and learning skills such as how to use scissors safely.

Mark Making

The children are able to choose their own medium – paint, crayons, pens even shaving foam! There is no right or wrong way to create marks; the children are encouraged to express themselves freely and to use their own imagination and ideas.

Water, sand and Messy Play

Children are encouraged to use all of their senses to explore our malleable activities. A fantastic opportunity to give children complete freedom with their mixing, making, moulding and creating. Children learn many life skills through these simple activities and have a lot of fun in the process.
